The Shatter Guard protective coating ensures this globe is safe for food warming applications. Protective Shatter Guard coating for retaining glass fragments of the broken lamp. Heat shield insert to protect lamp base temperature. Internally fused lamp for added protection. Manufactured to IEC60064 standard.
